As of September, 2016, residents of Halton aged 21 and older can apply for Police Information Checks and Police Vulnerable Sector Checks for employment and volunteer purposes ONLINE 24 hours a day, seven days a week without having to attend one of our police locations. This will allow the parents easier access to applying for a Police Record Check, that is a necessity for volunteering within our school. Halton Region Police Services has prepared a letter to parents of Halton Schools to help promote their new online service and hope to provide a quicker, more efficient way for parents to get a Police Record Check.
